Acroyoga Flows with Lori Flower Sunday, November 29th 6:00-8:00 pm In this intermediate Acroyoga level workshop, we will join together a sequence of postures in a creative vinyasa style flow of dynamic movement. Partners will still have a spotter and roles are interchangeable, but you may specialize as a base or flyer if you prefer. Washing machines and Flows require a lot of strength & good proprioception for base and flyer so prepare to be challenged in humbling ways! Pre- requisite: side star post, bat pose and reverse bird. Candlelit Yin Yoga with Hannah Lynn Monday evening, December 7th 7:30-9:00pm Yin Yoga is a deep, dynamic asana practice which targets the ‘Yin’ tissues of the body: the connective tissue (fascia). ligaments, joints, and bones. Use this practice to serve as a compliment to your yang (muscle-based) practices and enjoy the added meditative benefits of the long held postures. Yoga Nidra with Lindsay Armstrong Saturday, December 12th 4:00-6:00 Yoga Nidra, loosely translated as “yogic sleep,” is an inviting and accessible form of deep meditation and transformation designed to facilitate a state of pure awareness and self discovery. Learn the art of therapeutic pressure and Self massage in this once-monthly Sunday class lead by Hannah Lynn, massage therapist and yoga instructor. We will learn how to use props such as: yellow fascial balls, tennis balls, rolled up yoga mats, blocks, neck supports, and other props to apply pressure in just the right way to affect positive change in your body.
